Growing up I loved Robin Hood flicks. And, well, you don't do a site, zine and blog called Exploitation Retrospect without having some affinity for the world of demons and monsters, right?
So I was definitely intrigued when word got to me that an upcoming comic, called DEMONS OF SHERWOOD, would merge these two things, seemingly featuring Robin Hood and his merry men fighting evil. Better than that, the comic was coming from the creative team of Robert Tinnell and Bo Hampton, who previously worked together on the creepy and skin-crawlingly icky graphic novel SIGHT UNSEEN.
If you want to check out the first 12 pages of DEMONS, point your browser to ComicMix for a preview. We don't get to learn much, but it looks like Maid Marien's gonna need some help.
By the way, I just found out that Tinnell is doing a book tour for Seven Fishes and may be appearing at a store near you. For all the details check out the Seven Fishes Blog.
