A couple months ago I caught a screening of THE DESCENT, the new chicks in a cave horror flick from DOG SOLDIERS director Neil Marshall. While I don't necessarily agree with all the breathless hyperbole surrounding the movie it is a fun thrill ride of a horror flick.
Due for wide release on August 4th, Lions Gate -- in association with FANGORIA -- has some sneak preview screenings scheduled for July 26th. I'm guessing that the "exclusive content" being hyped is the film's original, superior UK ending, but I guess we'll see.

Cool. I'm looking forward to seeing this. After I read about it, I checked out Dog Soldiers. Not great, but really good and heads-and shoulders above most Hollywood "horror" films.
