With the success of the DAWN OF THE DEAD remake it was only a matter of time before other living dead classics got greenlit for the update treatment. Not only is a 3-D remake of the original Romero classic now on video but it looks like the awful looking, Steve Miner-helmed DAY OF THE DEAD remake is going straight to video, about a year after it was originally scheduled to be in theaters.
DreadCentral reports that the flick will hit video shelves in April 2008.
