Death of a TV Pioneer

I was disappointed to hear about the death on Wednesday of TV sports pioneer and B-movie jiggle and guns god Andy Sidaris. Best known to trashhounds and ER readers as the genius behind such films as RETURN TO SAVAGE BEACH, MALIBU EXPRESS, GUNS and many more, Sidaris was also a pioneering television sports producer and director who won multiple Emmy Awards for his work on the Olympics and other sporting events.

Most notably, Sidaris, who once called himself "the best television director that ever lived", invented what he called "the honey shot" which focused the camera on cheerleaders and hot chicks sitting in the stands at a sporting event.

Who knew one man could be responsible for such disparate parts of my pop culture upbringing?
