Kolchak As The King

While going through a box of records bound for eBay the other night I found a program for a 1950s production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical 'The King and I'. Based on the novel 'Anna and the King of Siam' by Margaret Landon the musical has been mounted numerous times through the years and became a hit film version featuring future WESTWORLD villain Yul Brynner as The King.

Imagine my surprise when I flipped the program open only to be greeted by Carl Kolchak himself, Darren McGavin, staring back at me as the least believable King of Siam in recorded history!
