Our good friends over at B-Movie Buffet weigh in this week with reviews of two of my all-time favorite sleazoid classics, THE CLASS OF 1984 (recently released on widescreen DVD thanks to Anchor Bay) and Troma's brilliant THE CLASS OF NUKE 'EM HIGH.
I can still vividly recall walking up the street to the Budco Millside movie theater in suburban South Jersey and having to make the difficult choice between Sam Firstenberg's amazing AVENGING FORCE (starring Michael Dudikoff and Steve James) and NUKE 'EM HIGH. Reading Bunny's review I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy that she was seeing the film for the first time... oh, if only we could return to those thrilling days of Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey on the theater roof before we settled in for a long night of exploitation fun.
