I am definitely what you would call a soundtrack fan. My iTunes library currently houses a good 1000+ pieces of movie music, from the memorable, recurring themes of the FRIDAY THE 13TH and HALLOWEEN flicks to the bouncy jazz of the Jerry Cotton series, tons of Italian crime music, and Paul Westerberg's work on SINGLES and OPEN SEASON.
So it goes without saying that I am quite excited by the launch of Soundtrack Apocalisse, the new site from the folks at Cinema Suicide (which – by the way – recently celebrated its first birthday). And what better way to kick off the site's grand opening than with an interview with Fabio Frizzi, best known for his frequent collaborations with Italian splatter king Lucio Fulci.
