Nice to see that the long-rumored deluxe editions of The Replacements' back catalog are more than just rumors. April 22nd will see the release of deluxe editions of all four of their Twin/Tone vinyl releases, Sorry Ma Forgot to Take Out the Trash, Stink, Hootenany and Let it Be. Each disc will include everything from live tracks and unreleased versions to demos, all picked by the band for these releases. And from the looks of the track listings about 80% of the bonus cuts will be new to my ears.
According to this article over at Pitchfork the band's Sire output (Tim, Pleased to Meet Me, Don't Tell a Soul and All Shook Down) will receive the same deluxe treatment later this year.
Hey Mr. Congressman... bring on my rebate check!!
