Leave it to the French to find the art in PLANET OF THE APES. If you're going to be in Paris before the end of the week I envy you. Not for the romance, the food or the wine. Nope. I envy you because you'll be able to visit Colette Gallery for their exhibition of behind-the-scenes photos taken during the film of the great PLANET OF THE APES in 1967 by Dennis Stock. The photos capture cast and crew relaxing during filming, with actors in full monkey and gorilla makeup going about their business between takes.
