Superhero Hype is reporting that SUPERMAN RETURNS star Brandon Routh will be play the lead in DEAD OF NIGHT, an adaptation of Tiziano Sclavi's horror comic DYLAN DOG. The flick will be directed by David R. Ellis who helmed the entertaining FINAL DESTINATION 2 and the lame SNAKES ON A PLANE.The look of the comic character Dylan Dog was based on actor Rupert Everett who played the lead in CEMETERY MAN, based on a novel by Sclavi.
