Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is giving away a copy of their upcoming horror-comedy TRANSYLMANIA to one lucky ER reader. What's it all about? If the box art doesn't give you an idea here's the official synopsis:
Stoked over the smokin’ Romanian hottie he’s meet online, an über-randy college student talks his dimwitted friends into joining him for a semester of beer, babes and bongs at what they think is a prestigious Transylvanian university. What they discover instead is a creepy castle populated by a torture-loving mad scientist, an overcybersexed humpback, the nubile spirit of a decomposed sorceress and a bevy of horny vampire chicks that have finally found a student body they can really sink their fangs into.So it's sorta like EUROTRIP MEETS PAUL NASCHY? Tim Lucas is reporting at the Video Watchdog blog that sexploitation legend Joe Sarno passed away at age 89 after a short illness. I know Sarno directed Christina Lindberg in YOUNG PLAYTHINGS and helmed some of the INSIDE flicks (including INSIDE SEKA) under a pseudonym, but for me he'll always be the man that warped my fragile little mind when his LAURA'S TOYS showed up on Prism, our local premium movie channel when I was an impressionable teen.
